I love love discovering new local boutiques, which I'm finding to be a rare find these days... with soaring rental costs and fast-fashion brands such as H&M, Zara and Forever 21 taking over the city. Smaller boutiques carrying upcoming designers are harder to come by.
So on one random me-day... I aimlessly walked into Convey. And I fell in love.
Located in the trendy West Queen West. Convey is a Toronto-based boutique that primarily handpicks Australian and New Zealand designers. It's well-curated with muted palettes in interesting silhouettes with amazing details. If I was able to have a new closet - it would be all from here. Minimalism at its best.
I knew it was a bad idea when I decided to try on a few things... I ended up trying on the whole store but luckily for me with some self-control. I just walked out with 2 (1 item on sale I might add - SCORE)!
But there are so many many things that's on my wish list.
I have lots of bags but I actually don't have a small-medium shoulder bag... so this saddle bag from Sancia is on point.
And if you know me... I have this fascination about not having enough shoes. A normal person would say I have way too many shoes but I really don't think you can have enough :P ... like actually. Ever since I went to Paris 2 years ago, I've been wanting a pair of silver loafers and these are right up my alley. And I also died when I first saw these marble sneakers on their Instagram feed. Umm... it's white with a marble print. Like hello? Who wouldn't love that.
So if you are aimlessly walking around West Queen West after brunch - be sure to drop by Convey. Oh! They also started carrying menswear! So gents, go check it out!
'til next time...
