rome/pompeii

I first visited Italy when I was 7, which I hardly remember except the part when the tour bus left us because we took too long to get to our bus. So, it was quite different when I went 20 years later. What can I say about Roma - it's quite majestic and I was always at awe at the architecture. Everything amazed me. However, it wasn't a city I really fell in love with. It was too congested with way too many people (especially at the Vatican) and apart from the amazing pasta and tiramisu... I honestly got tired of it after staying there for a week.

Pompeii on the other hand was mesmerizing... the fact that I walked up an active volcano was quite crazy.
